Note: If needed, set the dial to "0" while troubleshooting to stop the flow of liquid.STEP 1: Check The Trigger Lock

a. Check to see if the trigger is set to ECO or Boost mode.
b. If either is true, unlock the trigger an set it back to regular.
STEP 2 : Check For A Blockage In The Mechanical Valve
a. Unscrew the retainer and pull the front duct off.
b. Disconnect the hose from the back of the Vortex Flex™
c. If there is liquid in the unit then you should be able to squeeze the trigger, and the liquid will exit.
STEP 3: Clear Debris From The Mechanical Valve

a. If there is a blockage, you will need to clear the debris from the mechanical valve.
b. Locate the entry hole on the back of the Flex™ where the hose connects to.
c. While squeezing the trigger, use compressed air to blow through this entrance.
d. The debris should come out of the exit hole on the front of the Flex™
STEP 4: Mechanical Valve Issue

a. If the rest of the steps didn't help with the issue, then it is likely that the mechanical valve is the problem.
b. The main housing will need to be removed in order to work on the mechanical valve.
