If the unit sprays but the blower is not working when the trigger is activated, there could be a few reasons why. We will go through some troubleshooting steps for a Vortex Flex whose blower has no power.

Watch:

Step-By-Step Instructions:

STEP 1: Check The Battery

a. In order to run the Vortex Flex™ you must be using a minimum of a 5.2Ah battery pack.

b. Make sure that the battery is charged. If using a FlowZone® battery, you can find the charge by pressing the battery Icon on the front of the battery.

Note: To test your battery, it is a smart idea to place it in your backpack sprayer to check if it's in good working order.

STEP 2 : Battery PlacementMake sure that the battery is fully seated in the battery holster or QuickSwap™ adapter.

STEP 3: Check Behind The QuickSwap™ Holster

a. Unscrew the screws holding the QuickSwap™ holster in place.

b. Pull the holster away from the unit to check if any of the connections are loose or missing.

STEP 4: Main Housing Removal

a. If the battery and QuickSwap™ holster aren't the problem, there is an internal electrical issue.

b. The main housing will need to be removed to investigate.

Note: In order to remove the main housing, you will need the QuickSwap™ adapter removed.
