Release Pressure & Purge The Hose

Tools Required: Safety Gloves, Chemical Container


Follow these simple steps to release the pressure in the unit after using. Purging the hose allows you to safely dispose of any residual chemical and prepare the unit for storage.

Step-By-Step Instructions:


STEP 1: Release The Pressure On The Tank

a. Find the ring located on the pressure release valve.

b. Grab the ring and pull up to release the pressure.


STEP 2 : Lid RemovalTo purge the hose you must have the tank lid removed.


STEP 3: Purging The Hose

a. Turn the unit on by flipping the power switch.

b. Place a gloved finger over the tip of the nozzle.

c. Activate the unit using the trigger and hold it for 30 seconds, maintain the nozzle covering the entire time.


STEP 4: Empty The Tank

a. Remove the battery from the unit to avoid any contact of the battery and chemical.

b. Dump out the residual chemical into a separate container.
