If your Storm SwapTank™ sprayer is leaking, it is important to identify where the leak is coming from.
Option 1: The sprayer is leaking from inside or behind the green base at the bottom of the unit.
Recommended Solution:
If the leak appears to be coming from inside or behind the green base, the base assembly may need to be replaced.
Option 2: The leak is coming from the outside of the unit where the hose connects to the base.
Recommended Solution:
Try tightening the hose connection and test the sprayer again.
- If the leak stops, your issue is resolved.
- If the leak continues, the wand/gun/hose assembly will need to be replaced.
Option 3: The leak is coming from inside or behind the trigger/handle area.
Recommended Solution:
If the leak is originating from the trigger handle, the wand/gun/hose assembly will need to be replaced.
Option 4: The sprayer is dripping from the tip of the wand where the 4-in-1 nozzle attaches.
Recommended Solution:
Step 1: Reverse the Washer
- Remove the 4-in-1 nozzle from the wand.
- Clean the nozzle and washer thoroughly (even if the sprayer is brand new).
- Reinstall the washer in the opposite orientation from its current position.
- Reattach the nozzle and test the sprayer.
If the issue persists, continue to Step 2.
Step 2: Reinstall the washer to its original position.
- Remove the nozzle again.
- Reinstall the washer in its original orientation.
- Retest the sprayer.
If the leak continues after completing both steps, the wand/gun/hose assembly will need to be replaced.
