Step-By-Step Instructions:
STEP 1: Remove the Front Cover Plate
Remove the battery and the external hose from the sprayer.
- Using the screwdriver, remove the 7 screws on the front cover plate. Note that 3 screws are located under the battery cover.
- Pull the front cover plate away from the rest of the unit.
STEP 2: Remove the Diaphragm Pump

- Disconnect the circuit board from the diaphragm pump. You may have to cut the electrical tape protecting the connection.
- Twist off the collar securing the interior jumper hose to the pump barb. Follow this by gently disconnecting the interior jumper hose.
- Using a flat-head screwdriver, loosen the hose clamp securing the inlet filter jumper hose to the pump barb.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the four screws securing the diaphragm pump to the sprayer's tank.
- With the pump loose, gently disconnect the pump barb from the inlet filter jumper hose.
STEP 3: Install Replacement Diaphragm Pump

a. Take the replacement diaphragm pump and attach the inlet filter jumper hose to the pump barb. Once connected, tighten the hose clamp around the hose and pump barb.
b. Insert the other pump barb onto the interior jumper hose. Secure the collar back onto the threads on the pump barb.
Note: Dipping the end of the jumper hose into a cup of hot water will loosen the hose up. This will make it easier to complete this step.c. Route the wires underneath the replacement pump and connect the pump to the circuit board.
d. If the circuit board was displaced, slide it back into the designated slot on the front cover plate.
e. Secure the pump into the sprayer tank using the four screws from earlier.
STEP 4: Test the Sprayer

- It is a good idea to test the sprayer before reinstalling the front cover plate. Start by attaching the external hose and inserting a charged battery.
- Pour some water into the sprayer.
- Turn the sprayer on and activate the trigger.
Note: Be careful not to get any liquid on the internal components and wiring.STEP 5: Reinstall the Front Cover Plate
If the sprayer is working properly, reinstall the front cover plate using the 7 screws from earlier.
